What an evening full of FUN jamming around with ex-Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Kim
Nicole Tong in our flagship store located in Lewisville, TX. Energy was high, smiles were big,
and excitement was through the roof the whole 45 minutes of class! Breaking a sweat in
each dance the dancers brought in more grooves and laughs in!
Our September workshop class of the month was a unique one for the books as we tapped
into our creative and fun side. Dancers joined us both in person and through Zoom sharing
the bursts of enthusiasm while following Kim’s funky moves! Throughout the whole class
music was flooding the store while the participants sang along to their favorite tunes. This
workshop event was a special one as Kim brought a special guest and the dancers even
brought their besties, so it truly brought our community together stronger than ever!
We always prioritize the dancers that aren’t from the area to be able to be a part of our
workshops as we offer various classes each month. It creates memories and experiences
for the dancers that they will cherish forever. We love seeing our dance community grow
and flourish to what its becoming because we give them the opportunity to shine as
performers! The option for Zoom will always be there because we want to be able to canter
to everyone to join in on all the fun and excitement!
Knowing about Kim’s background being a DCC she was willing to teach the students that
wanted to learn the iconic “Thunderstruck” dance the cheerleaders performed at every
game. Already putting the work in from the workshop it didn’t stop anybody from putting on
their best performance as they whipped their hair and shook their invisible pom poms.
Recording from all angles the dancers got their chance to shine and soak in every moment
with their fellow dance peers.
After the workshop class, dancers got the chance to get their picture taken with Kim and
even included creative poses like a DCC split or high kick! Some stayed a little longer to
browse around our store and shop their favorites. Here at AK Dancewear, we want to know
everybody is appreciated as we express our gratitude for joining us at events like these that
provide entertainment for all! Our community is our pride and joy because seeing artists do
what they love is fulfilling enough for us!
