AK Dancewear’s annual Fall Dancers Event is always a joy; onward to the 3rd year we host this event, this year was extra special as we brought our event to Denver, Colorado for the first time. We had a jam-packed couple of days filled with friendship, fun, and growth!
Dancers Event Highlights
We kicked off our event on Saturday with a Trunk Show at our premier partner’s store Dance Xtreme Bodywear located in Greenwood Village, CO. Dance Xtreme Bodywear is the largest dancewear store in the entire state of Colorado. Here, dancers were able to browse a large assortment of premium dancewear from AK Dancewear. Dancers who participated in our fall event were given a voucher to shop our collection and try on some new flattering and comfortable leotards and skirts, including the newly launched Boutique Collection that is available only in AK Dancewear flagship store or pop-up events. It was such a joy meeting so many new friends in our community and seeing the outfits the dancers were able to create!
On Sunday, we continued our event with a filled day of ballet fun! AK Dancewear hosted our Sunday event at Littleton Ballet Academy. This gorgeous studio offered us a large space to host all 27 of participating dancers. The day started with a ballet masterclass taught by Tracy Jones of Ballet Private. In her class, dancers were able to learn from the knowledge and experience of Tracy while continuing to finetune their ballet technique. We also were able to learn more about Tracy through a Q&A seminar with her after class. Dancers were able to hear about her journey as a dancer and ask her questions.
Following a delicious lunch, dancers then joined us for another seminar, this time with Francisco Estevez and Colton West of Candidly Created. Candidly Created is one of the premier Dance Photography Companies in the country, and it was an honor to have them as collaborators for our Fall Event! In this seminar, Dancers were able to get a hands-on lesson about dance photography, the dos and don’ts of dance photographs, and how best to set yourself up for success in a photoshoot. Some of the dancers were even able to get in front of and behind the camera during this lesson!
We concluded our day with a photoshoot session for each of the dancers. Each dancer was able to shoot with both Francisco and Colton and try an abundance of different poses. They all looked so stunning hitting every pose and wearing AK Dancewear of course! While the Dancers took turns getting their photos, we obviously had to have some fun creating Tik Toks and Instagram Reels! We wrapped our day with one last group photo and said goodbye to the new friends we made.
Seeing our community grow and friendships form is why we at AK Dancewear are committed to throwing events like our Annual Fall Dancers Event. We are thankful for each and every participant in our Fall Event. It was such an honor to see dancers from near and far join us in Denver and we look forward to connecting with everyone again soon!
