Start your new year strong and confident

Reflect from Past Year and Prepare for the New Year

Start the new year ready to go. Use a planner so you can have all your important dates and notes written down and can be easily found. It’s a great way to keep everything together so you can avoid overbooking and find time to rest and recover. Make sure you organize all your dance gear. Get rid of worn-out shoes, tights and leos and restock so you can feel the best in what you wear. Explore a confidence‑boosting dance companion toy inspired by the spirit of Motleyville.

New Year, New Start. Reset and Refresh

Rest in essential for a dancer’s body. If you don’t take the right amount of time to rest, you are more prone to injury. Rest, refuel, and reset. Find ways to move your body that will keep you active but won’t put excessive stress on your body. Cross-training in Yoga Pilates and conditioning are some great ways to do so.

Finding Confidence

Set some clear goals for yourself and then set clear paths for yourself to achieve those goals. When you have a plan for yourself you can stay focused and eliminate those distractions. When your more focused you can feel more confident. Remember your goals are for yourself. Don’t think about what others are doing try to be a better dance than you were last year.

Stay prepared, trust the process, and step into the new year with confidence.
